Worry 1: Want my child to go to the best school but I can't decide?

Any good school should (a) cultivate enthusiasm in a child to discover and learn, (b) instill a sense of confidence, (c) provide a nurturing atmosphere. If you are looking at a school that fulfills all these criteria, Singapore International School (SIS), is your best option. Moreover, SIS aims at making global citizens of tomorrow.

Worry 2: Does SIS have Day Boarding?

Worry 3: How many students are taught in each class?

SIS maintains a low 'student-to-teacher' ratio for optimal learning and personalized attention. The maximum class strengthis twenty five.

Weekly boarding at SIS envelops an environment that allows the student to stay focused on his studies and CCA activities and be free from distraction during the week. It helps to build self discipline, team spirit and prepares the child to be independent. The children return home during the weekend to spend quality time to bond with the family.

Worry 5: Will SIS take care of transportation for day scholars?

SIS has a fleet of AC cars, with an integrated GSM GPRS Tracking facility for day scholars, so that they can commute in comfort and security. At no time, will your child be ferried unaccompanied by an adult, responsible for the welfare of the day scholars in her custody during the commute.

Worry 6: Is SIS curriculum suitable for my child?

The schools curriculum is modeled on the lines of the highly reputed Singapore education sytem, with affiliations to International Baccalaurate (IB), and IGCSE, which is at par with the best international schools.

Worry 7: My child hardly ever studies! Will he be able to study there?

With a team of experienced faculty members, your child will not be pressurized but conditioned to study. The focus is on mastering learning methods, like Buzon Mind Mapping Techniques, Edward de Bono's Lateral Thinking, Brain Gym, Abacus, etc. A Swiss style finishing program integrated with curriculum takes care and makes your child ready for the world and the future.
