MIDDLE DIVISION (MD) - MD 7 & 8

Middle Division students receive a Four-year education from Year 7 to Year 10. Middle Division is a transitory stage between elementary and senior grades. In this stage of heightened emotional and physical changes, SIS aims at:

	Providing an academically rigourous curriculum, multi-faceted and intellectually stimulating

	Providing personal attention depending on the aptitude and interests of the child

Woven into the curriculum is the following variety of subjects. At the Year 7 and Year 8 level, the compulsory subjects are:

Students at the end of Year 8 are well-equipped to make decisions on what subjects they choose to study for their IGCSE course at Year 9 and 10. The Year 7 and 8 programme is a preparatory course for the IGCSE. . The maximum class strength is 25. The pupil to teacher ratio is 10:2.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in SIS
