International Mindedness is one of the corner-stone of the IB programme. E. J. Hett commented
that “An international minded person” is one “who possess an ecological world view, believe in
the unity of humankind and the interdependence of humanity, support universal human rights
have loyalties that extend beyond national borders, and are futurists.” An endeavor such as
SISMUN is aimed towards creating the globally minded person who is also grounded in the
reality of one’s culture and is self identity; this indeed would be education for better world!
The spirit of discussion, collaboration, team work, perspectives, empathy and cooperation
are all displayed in SISMUN which build the necessary social, inter and intra- personal skills
and general communication skills apart from expanding the horizons of knowledge and
understanding.
We look forward to welcome students from all over to our campus in January.
